Overlooking a blue lagoon and colorful fishing port, Wat Tham Khao Tao is one of the largest and most unusual temples in the region.
This quiet temple stretches along the bay, and even has a man-made cave, which is filled with Buddha statues and figures of notable monks. Working your way up the hill, you’ll be rewarded with even better views of the bay below, particularly from the cozy viewing platforms. Though it might look different from your usual temple, it’s still a religious site and you should remember to dress appropriately.
